Requesting Information

I need basic information on greek fraternities and sororities such as traditions and when and where they were founded. I am from Stephen F. Austin State University and if there's anything you can give my about this college's greek life I would gratefully appreciate it. Thanks

You can visit each organization's website for information as well (not quite sure why you didn't do that first, though)

Seriously, If you want more information, go to the office of Greek Life on your campus! Or office of student involvement...

Message boards are great ways to get general information, but if you're thinking about joining, you need to go to the most local place possible... not people from across the world!

And BTW, you can't join a fraternity and a sorority... One is for men, one is for women... Even though my sorority is chartered as a Fraternity, we are still a sorority...

Before you ask a question about rush at your school, do a SEARCH.

There are alot of threads about ALOT of schools here. Chances are good that your school has been discussed here before:

http://greekchat.com/gcforums/search.php

If you're not having any luck with our search function, try using Google Advanced Search to search Greek Chat.

Go to Google, and in the search box type: [school name or topic] site:greekchat.com

We're not that kind of Greek website, but babelfish is your friend. http://babelfish.yahoo.com

Her signature. She is apparently a distinguished member of AKA.

Boy, if I had a nickel for every woman named Otis...
