Round Two!

Little ADPi, like a gem you are
I believe you must have been a star.
When your heart is bound
Sadness, there is none.
Shining bright, ADPi,
We're one.

Whoosh!!!!!

WHOOOSH!!!!!!!!!

It's ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can hardly contain my excitement so I had to blow out the candle!!!!

Here is the story of how my FI proposed.

We had discussed getting engaged at some point. I knew he had the ring. However for about the last week, he had been talking about not being ready to get engaged. Or not thinking it was the right time because of the upcoming holidays. In fact he even asked me if I'd be upset if we weren't engaged this weekend!!! I just figured that he'd just propose when he was ready. No big deal.

Saturday, FI came to my house and we were in my kitchen. FI mentioned something about a necklace I had on. He asked me if I thought I would still like the ring that he had gotten me. I told him of course I would, because I know how much work he put into. (He actually designed my ring himself.)
So he then says, well, do you want your ring now? I was like stop it, you said you weren't ready. He was like, well do you want the ring or not? And I just was like oh whatever, stop being mean. The next thing I know he's down on one knee asking me to marry him!!!!!!! I was shocked?!!? I was of course sputtering, and asking him about how he told me he wasn't ready. He then apologized for 'lying' but he wanted to 'throw me off the trail' and give me a surprise proposal. As he says he 'punk'd' me. After I got over the initial shock, I of course said yes!!

It was a perfect proposal for us. We are hoping to plan a Nov 2010 wedding!
