I HATE that RHOA is ending. Sorry guys, but I can't get into the OC and I especially found the addition of Quinn and Tamara dull. I don't think they added anything to the show but more silicone. Besides the joy of making fun of Lori (aka man face because I think she looks like one), it was ok.

And the NY season, I didn't even watch that much. Outside of Jill and the Countess, everyone else got on my nerves, especially Bethanny and the the lady married to the French guy (I can't think of her name but she was from Kansas). They use to go on and on and on about how high society they were!

I hope they bring back a season two of RHOA! And I can't WAIT for their reunion show to air either!

I love the Real Housewives of Orange County, but couldn't get into NY or ATL. The NY women were so into "society", but all I could think was that no one who was actually in NY society would agree to be on a Bravo TV show. As for ATL, the list goes on and on for why I can't stand them.

I agree with the above poster that the addition of Quinn did nothing for the show in OC. I liked Tamara, mostly because I thought her situation was amusing- she seemed ever so slightly trashy, yet was pretty wealthy. Apparently this season Simon quit his job with Mercedes and is a stay at home dad. Should be interesting!

I love love love the RHOA because it is so ghetto - it's like a cheesy, trashy novel, a soap opera and Jerry Springer all rolled into one. I liked the OC and NY wives, too. With every episode, they prove that money can't buy class.

I actually liked the NY wives, mostly Jill because she's not ashamed to tell you what's on her mind.. But I hated Alex and her husband SImon, they always talked out how much they wanted to move up in society and actually scanned the society pages in the newspaper to see if they were mentioned. I like RHOA because the girls are soo ghetto but they think that they are actually high class, especially NeNe she's a riot. The only housewife of Atlanta that I actually like is Lisa because she actually works for her money and is probably the most normal.

Alex! Yes, that is her name. That couple did get on my LAST nerve.

^^ Didn't they name one of their kids Francois?? That's just asking for your kid to be picked on, but of course since they are so high society they'll probably send their kids to an elite NY single sex private school where they won't get picked on at all.

^^def did.. and i love how when Francois was being evaluated he told the guy "i'm too smart for you" or something to that effect but couldn't even name the country that he lived in.. granted he's only a child but I think that his parents have raised him to be a little pretentious.

May I use that? " I really wish soandso would fall down a flight of stairs." that is great. I could say that about a couple of people right now.

I actually liked Alex and Simon; I thought they were a huge trip. On naming their kid Francois; I think Simon was Belgian or something? Like maybe he was a native French speaker?

Was Jill the single one? I liked her a lot.

None of them were single, Bethenny was the only one that wasn't married (although she was dating Jason).

Neither Alex nor Simon are native French speakers. Alex had said something about how they LOOOVED France and the French language and that is why they named their children that & why they insist on teaching their children to be bilingual in French.

In one of Alex's blogs she mentioned that both children were named after relatives. That's fine, but as Jill Zarin told her, give the kid a nickname or he will get his butt kicked. Bethenny is divorced and at the time dating Jason. From what I have read, they have since broken up. Bethenny keeps a blog going on the Atlanta women on the Bravo website; reading it is the highlight of my week because she is so honest.

Simon is actually from Australia.

Candidate for Mr. Blackwell's list. May he rest in peace.

Real Housewives of NYC

New Cast member added...
http://nymag.com/daily/intel/2008/07...on_to_joi.html

In a brilliant casting move, Bravo! has added Kelly Killoren Bensimon to the cast of the Real Housewives of New York City. The former Elle Accessories editor (and former wife of fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon) will join the show next season the Hartford Courant reports. We love Kelly — not only is she telegenic, but she'll also say the darndest things. And going into the show, she's much more high profile than the other housewives were when they started. She has more than 40 of her own pages on PatrickMcMullan.com!
Now, let's predict how the other housewives will interact with her:
Bethenny Frankel will be threatened by Kelly. The older woman is definitely going to shoot for Bethenny's role as the cute, sassy, funny one. But we're guessing they'll get along, as they both love a cocktail, and they're both unmarried at the moment. Girls' night out! Don't invite Simon! Oops, your boob just fell out, honey!
• The other person to feel most threatened by Kelly will be LuAnn de Lesseps. They've both got on-camera gigs for PlumTV, and they're relatively socially prominent. Kelly may not be a countess, but her former marriage to Giles Bensimon and her fashion cred combined to make her a coveted guest at benefits and parties. And she's been an Upper East Side mom long enough to be fully entrenched in that society, too. Our guess is that LuAnn will try her coolly superior act with Kelly, and Kelly will just think it's hilarious. ("Oh, you don't hang out at Cakeshop?" "No, I hang out at Maidstone, thanks.")
Jill Zarin, the mother hen of the show, will probably take Kelly's appearance in stride. She's too busy loathing Alex McCord to bother with anyone else. Plus, we're guessing she and Kelly know people in common — probably through the Upper East Side moms' club. As long as Jill stays invited to all of Kelly's parties, we're in the clear. Maybe Kelly can even talk her out of those bangs!
Ramona Singer will no doubt be thrilled to become friends with Kelly — because the glamorous socialite is everything Ramona wants to be. She's funny, she's sexy, and she's well connected. We're envisioning this will all go south when Ramona tries to throw Kelly into a pool somewhere, but until then, Kelly will probably humor her.
Alex McCord will also no doubt be thrilled at Kelly's "connections." After all, Kelly is hooked up in the fashion world ("OMG, do you know Roberto Cavalli!?"). As for Kelly's interactions with the McCords, we expect they will fall into two categories: "minimal" and "hilarious."
