I love this thread! And since we are of the same vintage I really relate. However, want to talk about embaressing occupations? My best friend from high school rushed at ...........She was asked what her father did for a living (she didn't mention her previous 4 fathers)..she said, "He's a producer." (Back east that could mean...producer of lettuce, grapes....but no here it was movies.) When asked what movies he had produced she told them two of the titles....pornos. Yep...imagine that conversation stopper.
