I'm definitely voting for Obama. I've been an Obama supporter from day one.
What puzzles me though is how many people are voting for McCain based on religious views. For example, many people I know are voting for McCain based on how he feels about abortion. I don't think an issue such as abortion needs to be a factor when taking into account who will lead this country. Whether Sally down the street can get an abortion will not directly affect everyone. Whether a candidate has a good economic/healthcare/military strategy WILL affect everyone.

There are a lot of people voting for Obama based on abortion issues as well. It's not just a one-party thing. I agree, though, in that I would never make it the basis of my vote - actually, it's a non-issue to me.

I made the reference to McCain because it seems that whenever I watch CNN they always talk to people who are voting for McCain based on that. I never hear the Obama supporters making reference to that issue.

Hmmm..that's strange. Maybe it's because I live in a blue state, but I frequently hear people say that they're voting Obama because "he won't reverse Roe v. Wade," or that he won't make abortion illegal, etc.
We're talking completely empirical evidence, of course, but there are people on both sides who are making that their sole issue, or at least the #1 issue in deciding their vote.

On another note, I have yet to meet anyone who plans to vote for Bob Barr. lol I haven't even heard what his ideas are.

Plenty of democrats, especially women, vote only for pro-choice candidates - myself included. I don't really expect men to care nearly as much about it, quite frankly...it just doesn't impact them as much.
