my mouth is still ajar i can't believe what just happened. It seems like everytime you think something is coming the writers make it even more realistic by putting in a plot twist instead of doing the expecting.

Tonight was only the second time I've ever watched it, and the ending makes me want to yarf. I love how they feed the stereotype that sororities are full of nothing but catty b*tches.

Honestly, if it's only the second time you've watched the show, you wouldn't really understand the point of the ending.

I know it's the point of her character, but sweet Jebus I just want to punch Frannie in the teeth.

I hope Rebecca decides to stay. I feel bad about her Big Sis present-even though she has been a bit on the mean side. Maybe Casie will have one there and give it to her and that will stop her.

yea, it's understandable because of everything else that's happened in the show. But it's still ridiculous and outlandish. It makes the girls come off as, not only as catty, but also as being completely juvenile. "Well, you used to date my boyfriend, and I'm not president, and I don't like you, so I'm going to ruin initiation and get my own house." ::stomps foot::

There's no hugging and making up because it doesn't make for good tv. But it also seems to be getting further and further off track from how sororities truly are.

College women are 18-22, of course there is going to be catty and petty drama. Ruining initiation and starting a new sorority IS extreme, but it's TV. But I'm sure plenty of houses experience internal drama and cattiness.

Oh, I'm sure they do. The point is, there's never any fixing it, and now there's a new sorority that's going to be created?? Again, ridiculous. Again, good tv.

Does anyone think it will lead some high school/new-to-college girls to the assumption that it's simply that easy to buy a house and make a new sorority? Or does anyone think the show is starting to give off a bad impression of Greek life as a whole?

They already think it's easy. Just take a look at some of the threads we've had on that topic lately.

If I understood last night correctly - Frannie and Evan were getting a house together and then when she barges in during initiation she says that she has rented a new sorority house....

I wonder if the writers ever look at these boards - it sounds like something that someone would post on here, like a "I hate my sorority and want to start a new one" thread!

I felt bad for Ashley... Cassie kind of deserved it as she really hasn't tried to be the bigger person, but Ashley has tried, and wow...

And when Evan hit Rusty with the paddle, OMG, ridiculous...

So far I don't think the show has really given a negative portrayal of Greek life. It shows truthful, not so great aspects of Greek life like feuding between fraternities, but I don't think it's anything people didn't already know or assume happens in the Greek system. I don't think anything has been too over the top (except starting the new house). The fight between Kappa Tau and Omega Chi was a surprise last night, definitely wasn't expecting that!
