EYE-talian is another pet peeve, as is "AAAsh-tray.
I would prefer that over "ass-tray"
I've heard far too many people pronounce it that way.
I hate it when companies reduce the size of their product and try to call it 'New and Improved' or some other superlative while charging us the same amount of dollars for less.
I hate when someone has just smoked a cigarette and then gives me a hug...yech.
