Well, since Civil War isn't a very accurate name (the CSA did not try to take over the whole country) I never liked using it, and of course I grew up hearing many others:

The War
The War for Southern Independence
The War to Supress Northern Aggression
The War to Supress Northern Arrogance
The War Between the States
I believe TWBTS is the most common.
