Questions...

Did Sarah mention once, how John McCain isn't another George Bush or a maverick for that matter? She kept saying that Joe/Obama keeps going backwards, and then brought up energy. Something McCain has flip flopped about in recent times.

Did Joe Biden defend the reasons why Obama voted against funding for the troops? All I heard was that McCain voted the same way. Two wrongs don't make a right. That really wasn't the answer I was looking for.

She's just spouting more rehearsed rhetoric -- it's a strategic misrepresentation: http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/685/

That's wasn't Bristol holding the baby tonight, that was Willow. Come to think of it...I haven't seen Bristol lately. Hmmm . Willow is a few years younger than Bristol...13 or 14 years old. They look so much alike, it's scary.

Willow is the pretty one looking at her mother! Piper, the youngest daughter is soo adorable. If you have ever seen her on the campaign trail, you'd notice how she looks up to her mother as if she was God! Too cute!

Palin wasn't half bad, and probably better than most people (including myself) expected. Biden was a little too timid at the start, but got better towards the end.

I thought it would be a "do no harm" kind of night - both VP candidates have weaknesses, and the main thing was not to let those weaknesses hurt their respective campaigns. In that way, I think both accomplished their mission.

Haha, I was going to say "Quayle didn't shoot anybody" but I was too late.

He said it had to do with other pieces of it and the lack of a good plan to leave. He said McCain voted against it for a different reason, because there was a timeline.

I found the most avoidance on her part to be the Achilles heel question. After her answer about climate change, my daughter said "So does she believe in global warming or not?" and I said "I have no idea but I think she said that she believes the climate is changing but that it isn't man made" She definitely didn't say that too clearly.

ETA: Her wink bugged me, but that's a personal thing, not an issues thing.
