I'm 23 and I get carded regularly! We go to this one jazz club quite frequently and they've stopped carding me there (they KNOW I'm old enough by now!
) but I still get carded.
The funny thing is when I go home to Nova Scotia and get carded at the clubs there! The drinking age in most of Canada is only 19....do I look that young?! There are girls in the bars there that look like they're 17 or 18, and yet they card me?! Weird!
On my 19th birthday I went to the liquor store and bought myself a bottle of Absolut (my plan for years.....do a little pre-downtown drinking with my mom) Well, they didn't card me!!!! I was so pissed....I wanted to be carded so I could say I was legal (and that it was my birthday!
) I went home and told my mom.....so we went back to another liquor store for some rum for her....I went in and bought it, so they could card me.....and they didn't again!!!!!!! If only I had've known it was that easy when I was younger!
