I am in favor of a tough, but fair policy which includes equal and even moderation on the part of all moderators -- including full disclosure of the internet policies of all GLOs which have them -- if a brigade of lawyers is to harass us, let's know the rules first, shall we?
This plan also includes a democratic process by which moderators are selected on 12 and 18 month rotations and may only be elected by GreekChat -- no more appointments and no more unlimited consecutive terms!
Once the leadership in place and we have assurances that moderators are not being pissy or sensitive, then we can focus on how moderators communicate with problem posters. A three strike warning system is fair enough for five year olds -- why not us? Have some courtesy and communicate with a poster when you edit, move, or delete their post.
Gone will be the days where GCers can talk like lil bitches to Alpha mods to complain about my coarse language.
Gone will be the days when GCers can threaten to call our national headquarters due to our opinions.
It is THOSE GCers who need to be banned. GCers, our IGNORE buttons still work!
And if need be, I will pursue IP bans, public outings of trolls, and going to cigar shops and judo classes MYSELF and slapping the offenders with my gloves!
