I like SKs first song from this CD. I doubt I'd purchase ANYTHING from her. I haven't purchased her sister's material, so why should I purchase Solange?
BTW, her (SK) vocals were lacking last night on the Fashion special, IMO.

Ne-Yo's CD (so far, since I listen to my CDs in the car) is DA BOMB.

Agreed. The man has talent with a pen. The beats are nice too. Loving the live instruments.

I finished listening to the album. My statement stands.
I also bought Raphael Saadiq's new album. I'll tell ya'll how that is tomorrow. I also bought Estelle and Jill's last album (I know I'm late. Sister was broke last year.).

I love a few songs off of Estelle's CD. I even bought her previous CD. It was more hip-hop than RB-ish. Apparently Estelle used to be some sort of rapper I wasn't feeling it much. I do like a few songs on "Shine." I absolutely love American Boy!
I look forward to getting back in a position to get back on top of my music game. I have yet to buy Nas's new CD and that is SOOO not like me. I'm one of Nas's biggest fans and always purchase on release day. Not so this time around. I plan to purchase Solange and Ne-Yo as well.

I want Ne-Yo for a birthday present.
My favorites: Closer, Fade Into The Background, Single, Part of the List, So You Can Cry and Lie To Me.

Raphael's CD is pretty good. It has that Motown/60's soul music feel to it.

This may have been mentioned but has anyone heard of Emily King? On Sunday's one of the local stations had Neo-Soul Sunday and they played a song by her and I was like...where in the heck has she and Jazmine Sullivan been all this time????LOL

Velocity, Jazmine had me about to CRY!!! Whew... I can't wait. While we can agree on Jazmine, I am not an Emily King fan. I'm definitely just being a hater, but my first impression of her left me . She opened for Vivian Green before she "blew up???" and she sucked.

He turned into Robin Thicke.
I was wondering that too, I liked the one song he had and wanted to hear more, but he just fell off.

For real??? I can't even remember what the song was that I heard. I will have to look her up on youtube as well to see if there are some more songs I can listen too. She must can't sing live???
