The last half makes me giggle.
However, I'll say that as a member of OPA, the sorority founded by OPA, and who had a male interested in pledging our organization because our unviersity's APO chapter went defunt, we were open (and could not discriminate) to his being male in our sorority.
We would similarly, though, have to refer to him as a sister.
