Nellie was actually a b*tch in real life if you've ever read the book. Of course not to the extent of the fictional Nellie. Strangely, Laura ran into Nellie again after moving from Walnut Grove out in South Dakota and she hadn't changed much except I think her father was not doing so great in business anymore.

Oh yeah, I read all the Laura Ingalls Wilder books....I loved them.
I always wanted to go somewhere where it snowed and make those maple syrup candy type things they had.
