A few years ago I was watching a very old rerun of Happy Days where Joanie is 'trying her wings' by dressing a bit provocatively. Things are getting a bit out of hand when the Fonz steps in and runs off the offensive creeps. He then tells her that while it is her right to dress the way she wants to she has to understand that if you send out advertisement you cannot be upset if someone answers the ad.
My sister, who is very strongly into taking responsibility for yourself in all matters commented that, yeah, she can dress which ever way she wants but she has to remember that "tacky is as tacky does".
My Dad told us that way back in the day a very attractive woman was often described as "tough" or "tough as a 50 cent steak" He and Mom were walking down the street and saw a georgeous but really provocatively dressed woman. Dad said wow, she is tough. Mom replied, Cheap meat usually is.

My thoughts on the matter are that if a woman dresses to be looked at it seems almost bad manners not to look.
My sisters comment was that if a woman cant attract a man by being attractive rather than provocative then she better turn in her membership card to the Femme Fatale club. (She is the one who thinks that 'tacky' should be a capital offense).

I def. agree with the whole " tacky is as tacky does", women cannot expect to dress provactively and not expect to get hit on that's like wearing flip flops but getting mad when everyone stares at your feet...

Don't advertise what you're not willing to sell

I say the same thing about girls who make out with other girls to attract guys' attention. If that's what it takes to get a guy to look at you, then honey, you are hurting.

But yeah, it kills me when people put freaky deaky pics on myspace then act shocked when it ends up all over the internet. Just because it's "your" space doesn't mean no one else can see it.

i don't think it's "ok" to oogle women, but if you're wearing booby shirts and skirts 4-inches long, I think you should at least walk outside knowing that there is about a 99.9% chance that you're going to get oogy looks.

Do any of you get ogled? Or do you not? We need to know where the cattiness and anger comes from.

Yes.

People don't realize that while people can't see your profile, they can clearly see your profile picture of you chugging 151 in a top that barely qualifies as a top.

Do moms ever look at their daughter's profile? Because some pics I have seen would shock most moms who think their girl is such a sweetie. My faves are people who put up bikini contest pics...

This reminds me of a girl I saw on MySpace, contestant number on her hip and all. All her profile pictures so far have been of her tits and ass falling out of her skimpy bikini. Apparently she's an XO who transferred to UGA from another school in the South.

I think I saw the same girl. Her status thing said she was going to be an aunt, and all I could think about was how her family should keep her far away from children looking like that! She's half naked in her pic. (If this is the same girl...)
