I'm now involved in a friendly venture. You could potentially friendly venture if you don't find a chapter. I'm originally from Louisiana (Southwest part), however, in my search for a chapter near me in Louisiana, the selection was slim. It takes 5 members to friendly venture a chapter and you could call International and see about getting a list of MAL's and call them to see who would be interested in friendly venturing.

Baton Rouge's City Council consists of many different chapters. I was a member of Lambda Alpha chapter in Denham Springs for a while before I moved to the Lafayette area. Most of the CC meetings take place at the library on Jones Creek road. I don't remember which day though. Check with them to se if you can get any contact information from them. Good luck!
