Not tearing down the chapters, because I don't know the sorority tiers on campus. I don't think anyones ever said that out of staters won't get a bid. Just not always to certain chapters...it's more true of fraternities than of sororities anyways.
edit: Looking at the list and the home towns of the girls, I can immediately tell you which are the better chapters.

Overall, though, it's the bigness of the car that counts the most. Likewise at Arkansas, people from the town of Stuttgart are in high demand and you can generally judge the quality of the fraternity by the amount of kids from Stuttgart it pulls.
I was impressed I saw at least three Arkansas girls. All from Little Rock, must have gone to Mount or Episcopal.

I understand exactly what you're saying.
I thoroughly enjoyed looking at all of the lists. The only info. which would make it easier to analyze would be to list high schools.

It used to be rumored that out of state girls had a tougher time joining than in state girsl; however, there were more out of state girls going through rush than those who live in Alabama. Out of state has been acceptable for some years now.
