So?

The list is publicly available and linked in the thread earlier. If you all have problems with the info posted, is it really with the poster here?

Reason: removing "what's the big deal" because I'm not really feeling that fiesty.

irishpipes is most definitely not a stalker and I know she did not mean any harm to any of the NMs, but I think posting names and hometown on GreekChat is so controversial because of the privacy issues we've had here in the past.
Posting a link to the actual list itself is playing it safe.
|
And I can kind of understand that, but unless we're talking about matching to user names here, which IS stalkerish, I just don't think it's a big deal.
It isn't information that would be considered private at the campus where these girls pledged. That might be weird culturally someplace else, but we've got some websites that list everyone's name with a photo and a biography down here.
ETA: Okay, Auburn may not do the photos and bios thing, but take a look at Gamma Alpha.

I agree that posting the link is preferred, but in this and the Auburn thread the complaint was that the Auburn site was sorted strangely.
And whoever asked - yes, I live in Oklahoma. You must be stalking me.

The young lady I wrote a rec for (her sister is the current VPMR for AOII at Ole Miss) went ZTA! She is so excited! She had a wonderful recruitment experience at Alabama as well!

It's me..... I confess! I was an undergrad at OSU! Thanks for all your help in organizing this info.
this should be a different thread, I know, but what about OU?! Recruitment began on Friday, and not one post about numbers, etc.....

I graduated from OSU. Masters from TU. Did some undergraduate work at Illinois as well. I'm an advisor at Arkansas.
Haven't heard anything yet from OU but I sent several recs down there. I'm interested to see how they turn out.

Just got back from the Squeal Run at Bama. It is such an amazing site. Went to The Trunk yesterday, It is a store that has a section for each of the sororities where the girls can pretty much get anything with their letters on it, and they already have a section for Alpha Phi. Their house looks beautiful from the outside and the rumors were that over 150 girls had already signed up for interviews. It seems that not only has Bama welcomed Alpha Phi, but they have rolled out the red carpet. It was wonderful to see!
