Thats a good point! I have made up wild stories just for entertainment purposes and the fact that someone is asking something none of their business. Even to good friends.

I'm not excusing the behavior or saying that it isn't true, but I know I have heard many a TALL tale from DRUNK fraternity brothers about alleged hazing activity (we've all heard the stories about the goats). I can't say what would be going on with the hairless rat, but is it possible that someone owns a snake and that the rats are food??
If the story is in fact true then yes I find it disgusting and it should definitely be reported as hazing and the school and Sigma Pi IHQ should take the appropriate action.
