Here's her worry...(tops the list as of right now)... one of her dear friends from our hometown is rushing her this week. Their plilanthropy round wasn't as strong as she'd hoped it would be. She also got a girl this round that seemed to be wanting to do something else. Anything else other than talking to her! Anyway, my daughter said she was like the last one out of the room trying to figure it all out when she made her list. This topic dominated 75% of our conversation. I told her it'd all work out for the best. It just upsets me that she's worried about this in addition to all the other rush worries!!!!!!

Hang in there, uamomma! Everything will work out for the best. Bumps along the way are almost inevitable.
I've been following both the 'Bama thread and the Auburn thread avidly. I'm NOT being Panhellenic when I say...I was
so thrilled to learn that both Alabama and Auburn would have new colonies this year!

I'm not from the deep south, but oh my goodness, I know that recruitment there can be tough, tough, tough. How can anyone not have complete respect for Alpha Phi, and (at Auburn) Kappa Alpha Theta? Both are such strong national orgs. Some girls will not find their homes during recruitment, and instead of broken hearts, they may well be part of an exciting new opportunity.
