Oh, oh, OK.

I think I know what happened here but I'll leave PT clear it up when she gets a chance.

It would be a real shame to lock this thread, especially to lock it before there is any resolution of the initial issue with LL's thread.

This thread will die down, the situation will blow over eventually, as do all things internet related. But how it is handled now will determine how much of a stink it causes in the future. This is fodder for a lot of hypersensitivity towards mods on the part of the membership, as well as for potential sock puppets, pushing the boundaries, and general backlash. The best way to prevent all of that silliness in the future is to handle the situation maturely today, and locking the thread only ensures that all the above will happen with alacrity.

(Note that I have no intention of participating in the aforementioned 'silliness', it's merely what I predict to be a likely outcome from an observer's standpoint.)

But yeah, I agree.

No, I don't think it was a mistake. Keeping it locked would have just created more heat.
NinjaPoodle is the other female Super Mod.

Ah. Thanks. I was thinking there are only 3 Super Mods.

...waiting for PT to clear things up, because come on. Do you really think a Super Mod did it? I sure don't.

Based from my experience, the 4 Super Mods (SAEAlumnus, James, PenguinTrax, and NinjaPoodle) have been really good about PM-ing me if something as little as editing one of my posts has been done. I really don't think it was any of the 4 SMs that moved LL's thread. I really wish LL would come back and post, because I miss her posting.

I feel like I'm playing a game of CLUE, and it was Professor Plum who did it!

Except that now, he's Victor Plum, the video-game designer and dot.com millionaire.

Really. They actually said on the NPR interview that people don't tend to have lead pipes lying around their houses anymore.

Part of the fun of "Clue" is that old British manor atmosphere. The update sounds more like "Matlock" or "Murder She Wrote."

My BF and I have CLUE DVD and I kick ass at the regular cases. He's better at the General Cases -- those I totally suck at.

There is a Clue DVD? I'm gonna have to invest in that game.

I have Clue 50 Mysteries, or something like that. Totally NOT fun!

The edition (not sure if there's more than 1) we have has 10 regular cases. We try not to play too much so that we can forget who the culprit was. The general cases (selecting random cards from each pile) are unlimited.
