So much like DC, the local elections are usually decided in the Democratic primary?

Updates: Kwame is out of jail and on a tether. One judge said today he didn't have to keep the tether (for the perjury case) and lifted travel restrictions saying he could go to the DNC. Tether is removed. Judge on the assault case says no way, he needs the tether for that bond and is still restricted to remain in the tri-county area (metro Detroit only) and cannot go to the DNC.
DNC says they don't want him at the convention, don't want his superdelegate vote and feel he'd just be a distraction.

Because a few people here seem to care...
Today, Kwame was arraigned on the assault on the police officer charges. He was offered a plea bargain.. they would drop one of the two felonious assault charges if he resigned from office by September 3rd (the date the governor is having a removal hearing). They decided to think on it. His legal team has come back and said no way.
September 3rd can't get here soon enough. Word is that Jennifer Granholm is getting pressure from the Democratic Party and even from Obama to remove this joker from office.
