Summer C Drama, Rushing in fall

I started school this summer in tallahassee and ive met lots of new people in the past 6 weeks. Im rooming with my friend from home who isn't rushing because she goes to the CC up here. Well long story short we met mostly upperclassmen and mostly fraternity guys because, well reasons are obvious. Well anyway, she got involved with some drama with the ex gf of one of the frat boys, and as her friend i got pulled into it. Then some of the girls from another sorority also got a little involved because they were also friends with those frat guys. Both those sororities are ones I could see myself in and now Im wondering if something like this could potentially keep me from getting a bid from one of them. It wasn't a large group of girls, and I never did anything or say anything to them, they all picked the fight. Any advice?
