I thought of another one over the weekend : men who accessorize well. I mean guys who wear a cool watch or something that looks good on them, not metrosexuals who wear it because they saw it in GQ.

What turns me on is:

A Southern man (something about the way they can say "darlin'")
a deep voice
nice skin
dark skin and nice teeth (Michael Jordan)
stimulating conversation
nice body
nice booty
the smell of a man when he gets out of the shower
the smell of him when he's working hard
a man praying
the first time my daugther's father held our child (RIP, SCD)
a man who knows what he wants
a man who isn't afraid to take care of his FEET; nasty feet are SUCH a turnoff

White guys with long hair tied into a ponytail or worn shaggy. Basically, guys who look like Brandon Boyd from Incubus.

Black guys who look like Bob Sanders of the Colts.

Money.

I LOOVE Brandon Boyd.. but i'm also in the weird/ edgy Johnny Depp types..

- taller than 5'8 but shorter than 6'1
- preppy clothing style but artistic and "emo/punk" is kool too
- ambition
-light eyes and dark hair
- small noses and sexy lips (think David Beckham)
- awareness of political and social issues with an actual opinion (not just what mom or NBC says)
- good at making decision and doesn't rely on me to call the shots
- witty
-wide-range of musical taste
- if they play acoustic guitar i'm SOLD
- nice smile/ straight teeth
- almost any hair style is fine (just no cornrows, dreds, and unkept shape ups)
- in touch with his emotions (but not like the type that cries while watching the notebook)
- great conversationalist
- book smart with common sense
- good hygeine overall and a guy that smells like fresh linen
- a guy that's hot but isn't cocky about it
-tattoo's that mean something not the average skull or tribal crap

I like men who are:
- Funny
- Tall (as in over 6'2" because I'm 5'8" and like heels)
- Smart
- Cocky (but never arrogant)
- Well dressed (preppy is good, "fratshirts" every day.. not so much)
- Nice eyes (love green eyes)
- Playful

-"Going somewhere" as my mom says. To me this means either in school or a graduate with a direct plan for grad school/a career, or someone that has already begun their career.
-Attractive to me
-Clean
-Funny
-Smart
ETA: Manners. I'm not uptight, but I need someone who knows how to behave themselves in polite company and knows what's appropriate to say/do when. And they must be respectful to my family. I'm always horrified when I watch shows like Parental Control where the SO is a complete jackass to the family. I realize it's staged, but I want to date someone who wouldn't be that disrespectful even as a joke (and of course, I expect the same behavior of myself).

I'm not terribly picky as long as we hit it off. I don't have a type physically...the guys I've dated have been all over the map.
