Hell, Phaedra made it very clear when she said, "That's the difference between you and me, ... I don't do anything unless I'm in love with it." In other words, their marriage is an arrangement, and he is not in love with her. There you have it. I have just summed up the entire RHOA show, and now I'll step down.

Spoiler alert!

I thought the stripper was gross. Vomit-worthy gross. I am not a fan of strippers--man or woman--and the people who know me know they will cussed out if they ever bring a stripper to an event for me.

However, I cannot tell who dropped the ball (pun) on this one. Did Phaedra read the crowd wrong or did Phaedra call it like she sees it. Kandi and Mama Joyce talk about sex and have strippers at other events--why not this one? Hmmmm....

I thought they left because after the stripper dipped his ummmm "candy stick" in Kandi's drink, he then preceeded to show his "special talent" of being able to give himself a bj.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, too. I'm not into strippers, but I try not to be critical of others if that's what they prefer. Nene is such a fraud, because she was a stripper herself, ... however, I don't think she expected such a lewd display.

I think most of them thought it would be innocent-, though edgy, type fun ... but when fun turns VULGAR, ... especially when you know there are older people there (not to mention all the heterosexual men who were there and NOT amused), Phaedra should have exercised caution, and at least briefed "Mama Joyce" about how far this particular "entertainer" might go.

Phaedra has shown herself to be inappropriate in so many ways throughout this season. I haven't gotten over the "prayer cloth" yet. I was raise COGIC as well, and that is NOT what prayer cloths are used for. When ladies cover their "luscious thighs and kneecaps" in church, it is done with a simple handkerchief. The prayer cloth is for, ... well, PRAYING.

LMAO!!! I didn't think Sheree had it in her, but she went in on the Nene imitation: "I have NEVA ... DONE YOU WRONG ... !" when they all learned that Nene was messin' with Marlo's man DURING her marriage to Greg. Can't wait to see if that's actually true.

And Phaedra is a barracuda. I hope Sheree gets the child support she deserves, because she's waited way too long to demand that her children be taken care of by their father.

I don't know what to say about Cynthia and her sister's issues. I have mixed emotions about it. I know one thing, Cynthia's sister's man looks a whole lot better than Peter. Oh baby ...

This entire episode was just buckwild tonight. But I gotta hand it to the gays, ... Derek J. and Lawrence are confortable in their own skin, and no one can tell them that they are NOT fabulous. They are DOIN' it!

^^^^Here's my thing with Cynthia and her sister: I get that she has concerns about Peter (dunno, I personally think he's a little shady.) However, at some point you have to stop letting Cynthia's decisions affect you so much.

Ex: crying because you think she might give Peter money. If she chooses to give him money and later on gets screwed out of it, that's on HER in the end. You can't lose sleep over it.

That's exactly what got to me. If my sister makes the decision to give HER HUSBAND money, then I just have to say, "Hey, ... all I can do is advise you." And, if everything blows up in her face, then all I can do is try to be there for her (even though I'll be thinking, "Hey, I told you so ...") But to take it to a whole 'nother level by getting all emotional about it is sort of stepping over the line a bit.

And Mama Joyce got in Kandi's behind about that stripper. She had to break it down to her: "I may be your homegirl, but I'm your mama first." Gon', Mama Joyce!!

I blame Mama Joyce, though. That's the problem with crossing the line. You can't cross the line and then act shocked and perplexed when the line is crossed a little more. Keep the boundaries clear and you will not have to worry about a stripper sucking his own penis at your daughter's birthday party.

Phaedra probably would not have hired him for the party if she thought Mama Joyce would have been offended.

ETA: I also think the confused boundaries of a mother-homegirl is why Kandi was so shocked and perplexed by Mama Joyce's reaction to the stripper. I love my mother and enjoy spending time with her. But, she isn't my homegirl. I do not talk to her and hang out with her like I do my friends. Therefore, if I liked strippers, my friends would not hire a stripper for an event where my mother was attending. They would already know that is not a good idea.

WOW!!! That's a bloody mouthful, ... and you're absolutely right. I certainly wouldn't have MY mum at a party with strippers. Those boundaries have been set all my life, and there would be no question.

And Kandi always turns into a blubbering mess at every little occasion. Stop boohooing all the blasted bloodied time.

(I think Lisa is rubbing off on me after watching the Beverly Hills housewives tonight ... )

WOW ... No comments on the recent episode? I guess I'm the only one watching this show now, too ...

I'm curious what everyone thought of the Italian guy trying to flirt with Nene, ... if you call that flirting. It looked more like he simply had a fetish for Nene's TYPE if you catch my drift ...

And Russell Simmons tickled me. I've never seen him like that before, and it was just funny watching his behavior. I think Peter was right when he said Russell has A.D.H.D., because it certainly seemed like it. LOL!!

I'm not going to say, "all" Italian men are full of BS, but will say, "based on my experience", all Itailian men I have encountered are full of BS. All of that gushing makes me very uncomfortable so I typically have only one date with a man like that.

Loved the scene with Russell. Cynthia really should listen to his ideas.

FINALLY! Some feedback! Interesting assessment. I've never had the pleasure of dating Italian men, but have always WANTED to for the very reason you gave as why you don't. Maybe if I ever get the opportunity, my attitude will change, but as of right now, ... even Danny Devito is hot.

Seriously, though, ... I don't know how I feel about Peter's lip service while Cynthia was trying to plan this event. Men always expect us to be supportive of them, but when WE'RE trying to do something, we get defiance and resistance from them. It's not fair.

And Sheree seems to really be going THROUGH it with the whole child support thing, while Kim's life has changed for the better within just a matter of months. Amazing how things change so quickly.
