I generally stash my badge w/my tie clasp in a small pill bottle (label removed) & keep them in my laptop bag. However, since I now wear a Medic Alert bracelet, I was concerned that the security folks would get a reading when I trekked to GA08 two weeks ago.

It turns out that this sort of jewelry (bracelets, badges, earrings, etc.) don't have enough metal in 'em to cause a concern. At least that's been my experience...as they say in TV disclaimers, "Your results may vary".
