It is a great tradition and it is fun to look back at the journals.

These are all such awesome ideas!!
You do have to conduct the meetings in a businesslike manner (esp if you have a lot of stuff that needs to get done) but adding stuff to make it less cut & dried doesn't hurt and makes meetings enjoyable.
