Funny Recruitment Dreams

I just had my first one last night!

Ok so I dreamt that I was a IIX (I really am though..for Fall recruitment lol) and I somehow missed the first two days of recruitment. I finally show up and find out that recruitment numbers were super bad b/c my Pi Chi group was only like 5 girls. That night I get a phone call from a girl in my group saying that she didnt like the sororities she had left (one of them being SAI which dont participate in formal at my school..weird huh?) and that she was dropping out. I try to get her to stay but I freeze up and cant think of anything to tell her! The next day I come back and somehow I skipped Pref day and all of a sudden its bid day and the remaining 4 girls in my group get bids. Then its time for revealing and each IIX went individually in a way that represents their personality (EX: one of the IIXs participates in beauty pageants so she walked down a runway and revealed). I only got through 3 reveals when I woke up from my alarm. so weird!!

I love that you dreamed about us! I dream about us all the time. hehe. I had a horrible ritual dream one time.

It's too bad "Dream PNM" didn't like us. hehe.

This isn't really a recruitment dream but it's still weird/funny.

A few years ago (when I was still in school), I had a dream that I had gone home and missed the first few week of fall semester due to family problems. When I came back, rush and pinning had already occurred. The pledge class was going to be having dinner together, so I went to go meet them at the restaurant. It turns out there were three Asian guys in the pledge class. I was like "WTF??!!?? Why didn't they join LPhiE or PDPsi?" One of my sisters gave me the whole every-org-is-different-and-maybe-they-saw-something-in-us-that-they-didn't-see-in-the-Asian-fraternities spiel. Nobody believed me when I tried to tell them the guys were only there to meet Asian girls and not because they believed in our values. Apparently, I was the only one who could see how creepily they were looking at all the girls.

I had this dream a little after bid day last year it was so funny.

Anyway it started with us cleaning up after our last pref party and we were talking about how great we did this year with recruitment. We were so happy that our party was full and and that so many girl got teary eyed during the ceremony. Then it was bid day and we were so excited we were told that we gave out 35 bids which was quota. We go to bid call out and they never named a girl to come to our chapter. All the 35 bids we gave out were rejected. We were all so sad but tried to stay positive. Later that day we heard from girl who had just joined ABC, that said she really wanted join our chapter and didnt understand why she got ABC because she had suicided us. That Monday the greek life advisor called a meeting saying that there was a computer glitch and all the girls on our list got bids from ABC and vise versa. So the solution was for us to have recruitment again but with only our chapter and ABC. So on Bid day number two not only did we get girls but we got quota plus 2.

When I told some of my chapter the dream they couldn't stop laughing at how ridiculous it was.
