Actor Morgan Freeman is injured in car accident
The Associated Press
JACKSON, Miss. - Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman was injured in a car accident late Sunday night and is in a hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
Regional Medical Center spokeswoman Kathy Stringer said Freeman, 71, is in serious condition. The hospital is about 90 miles north of the accident scene in rural Tallahatchie County in the Mississippi Delta.

I was just coming to post this. What a way to kick off my Saturday morning. I REALLY liked Bernie Mac. I do hope that he was able to make amends with Barack Obama prior to his illness. I know they kinda had an issue a few weeks ago. Watching The Bernie Mac Show reruns won't be quite the same now.
I'm starting to wonder if the initial Internet "rumors" of his passing a few days ago were actually true.
