1. Did you decide which organization prior to attending college/while in college/after college?

i decided while in college

2. How did you go about choosing your respective organization?

through plenty of research (before the internet) and discreetly observing all organizations at my schools and other schools.

3. Who/What influenced you to become a member of XYZ?

God, me, the history of dst and its commitment to public service, etc.

4. Did the members/programs on your yard factor into your decision?

not really

5. What did you do to make your interest known (all the details are not necessary....i.e., pariticipated in campus events; talked to individuals on campus; pledge club or etc.)

confided in my roommate (a delta) and followed her advice to remain discreet and attend as many functions as possible.

6. Were you approched by members of other organizations to be a member?

yes. i was flattered, actually.

7. How did you handle that situation in question 6?

thanked them and mentioned that i hadn't decided what organization to pursue, which was true, at the time.

8. Most memorable event after becoming XYZ?

doing my first bit of public service, while wearing para

9. Any advice to anyone pursuing membership?

remain humble and realize that all things happen for a reason. if God intends for you to gain membership, you will. should you gain membership, stay financial and active.

10.... If you could change anything about your road to greek life or road after greek life...what would it be?

i would enjoy the pyramid time w/my line sisters. through the good and bad moments, we grew by leaps and bounds. once we crossed, especially the day after, it really hit home that we'll never be able to spend that much time w/each other again. memories are cool, but there's nothing like actually being in the moment.
