I would agree with what the previous posters said about clothing - pay attention to your school's Panhellenic website, look at the sorority webpages, definitely find clothes you're comfortable in, and of course, read up on Greek Chat threads because there is a ton of information available here.

As for books, there really aren't many (or any) accurate books out there on recruitment from the PNMs side IMO. I would say if you're nervous about all the talking that will take place, there are several books out there to read. Some of the ones I have liked are:

"The Fine Art of Small Talk" by Debra Fine
"How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie
