It's VERY hard to get a posthumous nomination, for a variety of reasons (certainly not limited to the fact that the Academy Awards are corrupt as shit and dead men owe no favors), especially for a "comic movie" . . . so while there is a groundswell, I'd be surprised.
Also, the actors in the movie are a terrible source for this sort of information. What else should they say?
