OK guys - I'm asking you this one just for giggles. I was at a bar and a guy bought me a Jameson's & Diet Coke. What does this say about him? Please evaluate.

Barbino - I LOOOOOOOVE Brandy Alexanders but I don't have the $$ to drink as many of them as I want to when I get started w/ them. So I don't start.

He's financially irresponsible or trying to make an impression. Well whiskey tastes about the same mixed as Jameson IMO. Jameson is a great sipping whiskey though.

I agree with the above assessment.

I didn't think that Jameson was all that excellent though...(or expensive).

I don't think any bars around here serve it? How much is it?

I bought a fifth of it for 27$, and it came with a flask.

Hm, that seems to be about the same price range as crown, which I'm a really big fan of. I drink crown and coke a lot. I remember one night I was out of town and the bartender was hammered and she was giving me crown and coke for a $1, of which I drank entirely too many but thats beside the point.

LOL yeah where my college is there was a club called "Shattered" well I was there on the last night it was open; as in they were bought out by another company and it was awesome, their bartenders were drunk as hell and they closed at about 1:00
well noone left... and by about 2:00 they were trying to get rid of the rest of their alcohol supply [of which was ample] so they were giving away free shots! They liked to have caused a riot ... that was the night I was introduced to tres generations... everyone was P-L-A-S-T-E-R-E-D.

Eh, doesn't sound so bad to me. I'm a Jameson fan (although I prefer a glass of Jack Daniels), so I'd look favorably upon that purchase.

As to price, it's not terribly expensive - I think it's around the same price as Jack Daniels in bars, although I think it costs less per bottle.

oh crap, really??

Some friends and I ran up an extremely large bar tab when we were in Chicago and I thought it was because our male bud was doing Jameson shots and they were costly. Which means, we drank a hell of a lot more than I thought. yipes.

My old man is a Jameson drinker and they normally cost the same as or only a little more than the Bacardi and diets I order.

Ok, just saw this post. It's really not that expensive, I can't imagine that it's pricey anywhere. Sounds like you had a fun night, though.
