Yeah, it's a 27 point scale range and the student got two, I think. The example was used to demonstrate that to get no points, the response would have to carry no meaning at all.
It was in no danger of being regarded as a competent or acceptable response.
I think it's pretty hard to get no score on the new SAT essay section as well.
