The Rays certainly have some guys who can play; even more so than fielding percentage (which can be misleading in a lot of cases), they're currently 3rd in defensive efficiency in baseball. I would argue that Navarro is having an out-of-his-mind, over-his-head start to the season (he's probably not going to continue having .326/.364/.440 triple slash rates and is around his 90th percentile PECOTA projection), but it's impressive they've done so well thus far.
The front office did a great job in drafting the right players, and it looks like it's about to start paying off.
