I was wondering if anyone here is a member of the National Urban League Young Professionals. If so, what has your experience been with this organization. Thanks in advance for your comments.

I help start the San Diego National Urban League Young Professionals.

Done correctly, in accordance with the National Urban League and what the national objectives are, I think it is an invaluable experience.

I may help out forming a chapter up here in the Pac Northwest, if they let me.

Yepper! I am having a ball, meeting alot of people and working hard. It is tiring but its a great networking org.

I go to meetings occasionally here in Orlando, but I haven't joined, mostly because the chapter's programming seems to be geared towards those in their 30's and 40's with families, and I'm not in that demographic.

I was a member when I lived in Chicago and then attended the events when I lived in LA. I attended a meeting and an event here in Atlanta but haven't joined as yet.

I attended some of the meetings because I live in Orlando.
