Here are the routines I liked last night: Both of the hip-hop dances, the smooth waltz, Mia's "Burton Bride", and Tyce's "Too Hot"
Based on tonight's dances, I think the N+T combo is a great addition to the show. Did they replace Shane or is he returning?
I thought both of Jean Marc's choreographed routines (cha cha and jive) were just hideous! I was shocked that the judges liked them, because I thought they were terrible. I don't know how much of it was the dancers and how much was the routines, but I absolutely hated them.
I also liked Will (the Tango), but I thought his partner was weak...and her boob almost came out of her dress when she was hanging upside down at the end of their number.

all in all, i thought everyone did a good job. i thought the tango couple shouldn't have smiled as much as they did while dancing-smoldering looks would have better set the mood.
loved the tim burtonesque wedding dance.
thrilled for twitch-hope he keeps up the good work.

I think when they decided to get rid of Rayven, they had to get rid of Jaime because Kourtni is way too tall for him to partner her. I think the tall guy (Max?) should have definitely gone home. Also, I would have prefered that Jessica go instead of Rayven.

I was so ready for Jessica to go home, I think it's nuts that they sent Rayven home instead.
Although, I agree with Nigel, I was disappointed that she didn't do her solo on pointe, but I don't think it was a mistake that should have sent her home.

Meh. I agree with Jamie but not Rayven. Matt can definitely open up a little more as the show progresses; if Danny could do it, he can. Jamie on the other hand, can't necessarily pick up technique as quickly. I didn't think his solo was good, and it looked like he was trying too hard. I would have been floored if they chose someone with personality over technique who LACKED technique. Personality is great and all but not the biggest deciding factor IMO.
Rayven ... sigh. I thought it was inappropriate to tell her that she should have been en pointe. She's contemporary ballet, and while it CAN be danced en pointe, sometimes it isn't. Her Italian fouettes were kind of horrendous, so I'll give the judges that. But since Vegas, I've disliked Jessica and I thought her solo was a dime a dozen. Plus, couple to beat? Hell to the no. She needed to wipe that smile off her face during the tango and get some center/balance.
Have I made it obvious that I'm a dancer?
