The suggestion I had referred to serves as the main centerpiece for the table in the pref ceremony, which I understand now is not what you were after. I still think simple is best, so maybe some bud vases with a couple of bud roses in them? Or if you wanted more flowers than that you could do a square vase filled with roses - I think on the cover of the latest issue of Martha Stewart Weddings there is something like that. Wedding magazines are a good place to look for ideas for table arrangements. I think the key is to keep the arrangement low, though - you don't want members having to dodge around flowers to talk PNMs!
