For my two college age sons
GO GATORS!!
HOOK EM HORNS!!
Both were at their games, both said they were AMAZING!! My UT son said they stayed for around 30 minutes after the game ended, having a 1/2 stadium wide pep rally (the sooners started fleeing the stands before the final whistle )

I was there for 65-14. Let's not pretend the Horns' faithful will stay to the bitter end. 1/2 the stadium was almost empty by the middle of the 3rd quarter. A good portion by halftime.

That's jacked up.
Congrats to the Longhorns for a great game! I honestly was cheering for Texas and glad to see the victory. Yes, they #5 team going up against #1. I was so touched by the #10 Colt McCoy who dedicated the season to his late older cousin who served in the Armed Forces (Marines, I believe) and wears his cousin's cross every game day Saturday.

Colt is a good kid. I really hope he gets another shot at being the Holiday Bowl MVP. I sort of doubt that happens as Texas is really, really good. Muschamp is a great DC. I won't be sad or shocked to see him go to either Clemson or Tennessee.

65-13. If you're talking about 2003.
2000 was 63-14.
And in the years 2001-2004, I remember there being seats empty on the orange side from kickoff to the hat ceremony, how sad is it if you don't even show at all?
I'm not going to say that we were playing our best, especially since Texas seemed to be on. There were some questionable calls (on and for both sides) that still watching replays don't seem correct.

I stand corrected.
I attended the game from '01 to '04 and was there this year. Since '01, I've always gone down to Dallas for a mini-vacation. OU-TX is a great atmosphere whether you go to the game or not.
I don't read too much into the questionable calls. It's not like 1984.

They stayed this year because THEY WON!!! And, it was a DAMN good game, it seemed like the last team to hold the ball would win, both teams played magnificently. Who wouldn't stay? With a score of 65-14 it is pretty much a foregone conclusion that you're not going to catch up.
This year the 1/2 stadium that was empty was the Sooners, even on ABC, you could see them going up the stadium stairs, leaving like rats leave a sinking ship .
BTW-They split the tickets 50/50, the dividing line is the 50 yard line. You can see cool clips of it on You Tube, but I don't know how to link it. There are also pictures of the "pep rally" on Texas websites.

I'm not a big fan of the 50 yardline split. Georgia/Florida splits in the endzone and I think having one red side of the stadium and one blue looks cooler than the 50 yardline split.

They do the 50 at OU-Texas because the cotton bowl has more seats on one side than the other, and there are only boxes on one side.

Do they split the boxes 50/50 such that half go to OU boosters and the other half go to Texas boosters? Or does the Cotton Bowl control the boxes?
