My conclusion of the first guy is he has some kind of problem with race. Whether he wants to admit it or not I think he somehow felt Obama was benefiting from saying he was black & able to get more votes because he would be the quote on quote first black president.

I actually agreed with the second lady until she couldn't back up why she wouldn't vote for Obama if he won fairly.

So my overall conclusion is some Hillary supporters aren't seeing reason. In what world is McCain the best alternative to voting for Hillary
Interesting to say the least...
I totally understand the argument of No experience, not enough experience, not the right experience, I don't agree with his policies, etc. Even if you say I don't trust him/her at least give me some examples of why.

But ultimately I understant that most people make these type of decisions on feelings, gut instinct and who they feel is most "like them" or, to borrow a phrase from Bill "feels their pain".

I am very pleased that for the first time in American history, a non-white male (ok, half white!), will be a contender for the highest office in the land! Senator Obama has a long road ahead of him but I know that he has what it takes to move this country forward.

CONGRATULATIONS, BROTHER!

His victory is thrilling. I did not think that I would see this in my lifetime.

I kept smiling so much last night I couldn't go to sleep!

And now, let the work continue to the general election.

ETA: When Obama takes the floor at the Democratic Convention to officially accept the nomination it'll be 45 years to the day of Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech. How's that for history?

I.AM.SO.PROUD.

It is amazing. He is amazing. I am so proud of my old professor. Well done! What a time this is for AAs and for the entire country.

I cried this morning when I thought about the significance of this time...especially for young children of all races (and especially AA boys). Their entire world will be different now b/c of this.

They said that he couldn't do it. They said he wasn't experienced enough.

Well done! I'm so proud.

ETA: HRC, on the other hand, is a whining embarrasment to women. Take.it.like.a.woman HRC. She is NOT representing women very well. Heck, watching her, you'd think all women were whining cry babies who can't admit when they've lost and move forward. Tsk tsk (shaking my head). I cannot understand that she is making herself look worse by behaving in such a way. Word on the street is that she won't even be able to get her job again in NY. What a way to represent women! For shame.
