I found an example of colony recruitment in the Alpha Delta Pi forum, this is the schedule for a recent colonization at the University of Delaware:

Sunday, March 9th- First night of ADPi recruitment; held from 4pm-6pm; this will be an open house style with alumnae and collegians and the colony team present (including members of Grand Council) talking with the PNMs and actually getting them signed up for interviews.

Monday through Wednesday- interviews conducted by colony team and Council

Tuesday, March 11th- Philanthropy Round- start time 7pm- this will showcase the Ronald McDonald House with emphasis on the Wilmington RMH (very close to U of D); here we'll again have alumnae and collegians talking with PNMs, do the craft etc.

Thursday, March 13th- Bid Day!

Of course all colony recruitment is a bit different, but this is a good general idea. Also, the same advice general advice applies to colony recruitment. Example: Anything you wouldn't say in regular formal recruitment, doesn't need to be said in colony recruitment either.

My recruitment/colonization experience was very similar. Depending on the campus and the group there may also be more or less meetings. You could find out this information from Greek Life.

Mine was pretty similar, as well. We only had interviews, though, and bids were given out on the basis of those interviews. I believe only alumnae were involved as interviewers. Honestly, my recruitment reminded me much more of a job interview than traditional sorority recruitment. (That's not to say it wasn't still fun.)
