My job offers the 9/80 schedule as well. I take Mondays off, because everyone else takes Fridays so the office is quiet and I can get work done. I don't think I could handle a 10 hour day at my office. I want to gouge my eyes out at 9 hours most of the time.

This is my first job out of grad school, so adjusting to 9 hour work days was really easy. Plus I really love my job, so I don't mind being at work 9 hours. Compared to the hours I was putting in at the lab in grad school, working only 9 hours is easy.
