My participation includes My regional Director position in the East Coast for the sorority, I'm a member of 2 national cmte's external recruitment and constitution and by-laws, but internally I also try to spread the word about opportunities such as scholarships, fellowships, job openings and travel with professional, graduate and undergraduate sisters.

I think no matter what organization you're a part of it's up to you to make your organization what you want it to be with your involvment.

Yes, they are a Latina sorority.

Are you asking why I didn't spell out the name? KDChi is their nickname, so that's how I always refer to them.

And I'm really not in a position to "educate" you on all things KDChi since I'm not a member. Check out their website if you'd like.
