The day you got accepted to the college of your dreams...

I got the letter from my #1 choice first! I got home from school and found a large envelope from the school in the mailbox.....I tore it open, read the letter and jumped for joy! I ran to my mom's work (she's a crossing guard at the elementary school) As I'm running down the street, my mom saw me coming and yelled "What's wrong? Who's hurt?" Apparently cause I was running like a maniac! LOL! I said "Nothing's wrong....except I'm going to university!!!! I got accepted at X!" She started crying...then proceeded to tell everyone that her baby girl was going to university!

Unfortunately we ended up not being able to afford for me to go there (I would have had to live on campus...it was 3 hours from my house) So I picked from my other 4 acceptances and went with my #2...which I'm so glad I did, cause that's where I met my sisters and my husband!

Thanks for the trip down memory lane! I remember how excited I was that day!
