So as I was watching a taped Arsenal vs. South Hampton with my roomie & a bunch of his friends and we were having the discussion about soccer cause they were talking about it being a pansy sport.

My argument was that it's kind of like Basketball but where everyone has to be as smart as a point guard, because everyone must create plays. It's like Football except that injuries don't come dispersed across ones entire body, but more directly to typically just the legs (knees, ankles, etc). It requires more patience than any sport, as well as more endurance, it requires just as much athleticism if not more. I can understand that if you're ignorant to the sport that it could be boring, but if you enjoy a team you have so many more people to take interest in because they actually can and do show their personality on the field, besides who knows everyone on a football team....furthermore who cares?

And lastly....how can millions and millions of fans throught-out centuries be wrong?
