Prom Dresses. . . It's A Whole New World

It was a local one. I was rushing for work and I had just pulled into the parking garage, but I did hear the DJ's trying to tell her that she was wrong. She started getting upset and was telling them that everyone didn't know the whole story.

She also mentioned that she and her mother are on bad terms and she was raised by her grandmother. Supposedly, her grandmother had seen the dress and had no problems with it.

I find that hard to believe. I wore a short skirt (3 inches above the knee) to a dance and my grandfather stopped me. He wanted to know if my mother knew that I wore handkerchiefs for skirts. He then went on to tell me that I was "going to get arthritis in my legs" from the cold air. The dance was in June.

I don't believe her. Her grandma may have seen A dress but she didn't see THAT dress. Unless grandma is 39-40 years old then it may be possible.

I guess we're not teaching our girls to leave a little something to the imagination, LOL!
