I swear some of y'all are dense -- whether intentionally or not, I don't know. Chaos asked a simple question and it took pages to get a simple answer. If you're going to argue great. I love a good argument -- I argue for a living. Lots of folks here love a good argument. But if you're going to make a claim, be ready to (1) back it up, and (2) explain exactly what you mean. Otherwise, we get pages and pages of really boring whining. It's really not that hard.

Maybe because we specialize in flim-flam "evangelists." 'Course, there was that David Koresh guy . . . if you consider Texas "the South."

I swear that people get more annoying proportional to their GC post count. After 2000 it's like a whole new world.

yea, but it's not nearly as bad as people who stay dim and slow witted throughout their post history.

I think it more shows you how useless that person's comments are going to be. If you have been able to think of 2,500 different things to say, there clearly isn't much substance to each post.

this would really only apply if your IQ isn't over 54. but once you get past that threshold, basic motor skills are difficult, too.

Says the guy who's managed to pound out more than 50 posts on just his first day. Seriously, have you been able to accomplish anything else with your day today, CB? You haven't taken a break from this one thread all day, it looks like.

You're averaging 11 posts a day. Without getting in 40 post arguments on your first day. Look around and realize that everyone else with the same number of posts as you have been here for 4 or 5 years, not 7 months.

And I'm on summer vacation and don't have a job and it was too cloudy for the lake today. What's your excuse? You're like 5 years out of school and have a job.

Come on now, that posting too much rant wasn't even directed to you.

I already said what I had to say about there being a double standard and explained that I don't actually want to call anyone anything. I prefaced it with that before I ever brought up the double standard.

Oh, I'm more than 5 years out and I wouldn't just describe it as a "job", but that's neither here nor there. And I'll happily own my posts, I was pointing out the irony in your calling out other people's post totals when you're off to such a roaring start. Glass houses and all that.

And p.s., no job or internship? Not the most ambitious sprite, I take it.

Don't need one. Already had the internship I needed to round out my resume, and I don't need the money, so I'm just enjoying my last summer before the real world (senior year next year...).
