Live Streams: Wednesday and Thursday: Centennial Events

I want to know how many of you all are excited about the Centennial Celebration and are attending???????? If you are not the Boule, will you be just in Washington, DC attending other activities that will be going on in the city? I am truly excited about this great celebration and I am ready to go NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our excitement can be found within many threads on this forum.

Thank you for asking!

ETA: I'm not attending the Centennial Boule. However, my money will be going!

**sigh** I'm a neo, and I don't even think I can go... being grow sucks and ever since being out of school and having a real career, life's just not as fun anymore. :-( Maybe I shall show up for a weekend if I don't have any early client meetings that Monday morning and if my electric bill isn't due... ugh... I never even had to pay my own bills before!! How does one DEAL with adulthood??? i want my mommy!

I thought this was too funny so I had to quote it. "I want my mommy too!!" and my daddy.

I'm excited to be a part of history!!! For those of you who will be in DC, welcome to my hometown. I plan to be down on the mall for the NPHC unity event and other festivities.

I feel a GC get together is in order. Doesn't matter how small or large, let's do this!!! Friends, pm me so we can get something going.

Well, I still live with my mother and my mother and my father (deceased 10 years ago) took care of me from birth all the way to end of college. I never really didn't want my mother to continue paying my bills. Even though I still stay with my mother, I pay my own bills and I in return do things for her. I never went to public schools. I went to private schools, which cost MOOLAH!!!!!!!!!!!! So, how do I deal with adulthood? I had to accept the fact that Life Goes On and I cannot go backwards. I have go forwards. If I want to live, I must deal with life by taking care of business. It's all mental. However, don't leave GOD out of it.

Yes! I can't wait. While attending the SARC, people keep joking that it was a run through for Boule.

I'm registered for Boule! Although I live in the D.C. metro area, I still got a room so I can hang out with my wonderful Sorors

Like many other sorors, my money will be going, but I'll be at home. The registration was too much for me!!!

I will be in D. C.

I haven't made my flight arrangements yet because I don't know if I should stay beyond that Friday. Does anyone have news on the happenings that weekend?

Bumping this because I want to see all the GCers who will be in town -- is there any "off" time that would be convenient for people to meet up? I'm obviously not privy to the haps.

And just so y'all know, I am definitely one of those "Hey, let's meet up in the hotel lobby for 30 minutes at ____ day at ____ time" kick it and have the photo opp, then disperse.

I'm getting excited. I am a delegate so I must guard my time carefully, however. I get in early Sunday morning and leave Friday evening.
