Academic performance and grades

We have them, too, and we also have a requirement to join. However, it HAS happened that people pledge with a reasonable GPA and then spend the rest of their Greek collegiate experience on academic probation. A girl in my chapter is that way. It sucks for her, but hey, you need to get that GPA up, right?

I know two non-greeks who got kicked out of school for bad grades. Doesn't anybody make those non-greeks study???

I think every sorority has its own policies in place to deal with poor grades. In short, sisters in my chapter who failed to make grades were usually not allowed to attend formal or semi-formal, or even take a Little Sister.

All schools require at least a 2.0 GPA.

Most GLOs require a higher standard to stay either as a recruit or an active.

I always thought going to college was to graduate, not join a GLO!
