Oh, I'm so sad...
I hope we can regroup there, too! I hope we can start adding and re-inviting more chapters to that chapter roll soon, too...

I think it's okay to announce since it is spring semester, that we will be returning to Southern Illinois University this spring and re-chartering Alpha Nu chapter.

I'm sad we're closing another chapter, but re-chartering is a plus.
I wonder if closing chapters is going to be a trend not only possibly in our organization, but all organizations as this financial crisis hits and possibly effects women's ability to afford not only college but sorority life.

Naturally, if enrollment decreases, the number of women registering for recruitment and thus joining sororities is going to change. The economy is also bound to affect expansionary activity in some ways as well.
